- Make-up sponge: A large, synthetic sponge cut into 6 pie wedges for applying pancake make-up
- Brushes: At least one fine, flat, slant brush; additional brushes: wider, flat, slant brush and a fine, round brush for defining areas
- Cream Pencil: brown or black for outlining
- Preferred colors of pan-cake make-up: Rachel recommends Ben Nye® pancake make-up, which comes in a full range of colors and may be purchased from various online outlets or at your local costume shop (Rachel does NOT recommend creme make-ups for children)
- Water and an old, easily-removable shirt to protect clothing
